About Judith Knipe Art
Bespoke Art, Pottery, and Paintings from Northern Ireland
Welcome to my creative world. I’m Judith Knipe, an artist deeply passionate about collecting, curating, and reimagining. I strive to keep my work simple yet sophisticated, allowing each piece to carry a mood and spirit that feels almost sacred. When I create, I believe that every piece has the power to change the world—even if just for a moment. I’m captivated by the evolution of ideas and love exploring where each piece of art will ultimately take me. My work delves into ancient rituals, practices, belief systems, and cultures, and I’m particularly fascinated by the history of mark-making and clay artifacts. Through my art, I invite you to join me on a journey of discovery and timeless expression.
Art is everything to me—an alchemy that transforms the intangible into something magical and profound. It’s a courageous journey, one that involves interpreting and expressing the deepest emotional responses through my work. This ongoing vocation demands not just skill but also a willingness to delve into the unknown, to let the creative process guide me to unexpected places.

My inspirations are drawn from the remote and untamed corners of the world—coastal cliffs, dense woodlands, ancient ruins, and timeworn landscapes that whisper stories of the past. I’m captivated by found objects and natural forms, each with its own history and texture. Bones, stones, feathers, and seed pods—all these elements speak to me, connecting my work to the earth and the cycle of life. They serve as both muse and material, infusing my art with a sense of wonder and reverence for the natural world.
